using libraries

Hello,

I have another problem with using KDev.
When I have a library installed, how do I configure project settings to 
generate the executable. When I use the -I<includepath> in the compiler 
options and -L<LibPath> -l<LibName> in the linker options only a temp wrapper 
file is generated.
is there a way to link the code against the lib?

It works fine when I use libtool (manually) on the object generated by KDev. 
But I don't think this is the correct way :-)
