2.0.2 dead slow when opening files...

Well, it turned out to be some weirdo font problem. I don't know the
reason, but I deleted ~/.kde/share/config/kdeveloprc and configured all
over again, and it seems to be working now.
The only problem left now is that a lot of strange symbols have started
turning up in the "messages" tab (for instance when running configure or
make). An example:

d*** success ***
Seems like kde 2.2.2 managed to bust up quite a lot here in regards to
fonts and so on. Anyone with similar problems?
