Working fast with KDevelop?

A. Shift+Arrow to highlight, Shift+Del to cut, Shift+Ins to paste...
      Has been around forever (since way back before Windows existed)
      And is faster and easier to use, and is used by more Win keyboard freaks
B. Kwrite, the last several versions before this, supported these keystrokes...
      Now suddenly it is gone.

Linux is not suppose to be about lack of features of losing features...
In this editor there should be point and click keyboard templetes...
One with every Win shortcut that ever existed, ditto for emacs...
And one each for every oddball editor any three people ever loved.
That is what Linux is suppose to be about.

Well, in the shiny new Kword in shiny new Mandrake 8.0...
Neither Ctrl+Home or Ctrl+End works as it is suppose to...
And Shift+Del neither cuts nor deletes.
I understand it is beta, but please...

If we are going to take over the world we will have to do better.
