KDE/KDevelop under Solaris

Russell,
this all seems a bit strange. What kind of hardware and OS version was
this again? I have a complete version of KDE-2.1.1 (w/ some few
exceptions) running on a Sparc Ultra 60 w/ Solaris 6.
Do you have xpm? This maybe the problem w/the tooltips.
Have you tried some of the kde binaries from ftp.kde.org? I made these
packages and uploaded them to Eva's site. Please email eva at kde.org for
the correct location or search for the packages from Evas website
(somewhere on women.kde.org) Unfortunately, I completely forgot where
she uploaded the stuff and I deleted the email....
Another problem, there is a bug in KProcess that John Birch told me
about. It prevents that any of the processes spawned from KDevelop run
correctly, try a grep search, does that work for you.
Debugger support on Solaris is shaky, here it runs only once, then
zombie processes prevent that the debugger can be started a second time
and one has to restart KDevelop... (that is w/gdb-5.0).
If you can use the binaries, I can send you a recent KDevelop-1.4.1
