External debugger, how to use?

Hello, again.
    I tried to use external debugger in kdevelop 1.2. For this purpose I
wrote simple script: 'echo $0' (to understand how it is called), named
it myscript and put "myscript par1 par2" in the "Select debugger" field.

The result was a lot of error messages in the 6-th console screen and
error message in kdevelop screen telling that myscript doesn't work.
    Many thanks to this guru, which will explain my mistake.
