That's exactly what I want to do.

But, where. In which file(s), is there a naming convention?
Is there already a place for the app/window state, that I could
use without interfering with the standard KDE configuration for
the app.
Does anyone have a class that already does it.

OR, Do I start from scratch?

JeM

BTW What does the K in KDE stand for?
