I can understand why your manager wants to use KDevelop, it
is an excellent GUI RAD and can only get better.  Nice
version control, great documentation...  The price is right,
too!
I downloaded and installed the RPM of the binaries and it
ran right off and compiled and, using the wizard, created my
first executable without a hitch.  The documentation is a
little tricky to get going.  Join the KDevelop mail list and
you will get expert help.
