Hallo,

It seems it failed. It must show "1.0beta4.1".
The command "rpm -qi kdevelop" should print the following:

Name        : kdevelop                     Relocations: (not relocateable)
Version     : 1.0beta4                          Vendor: The KDE Team
Release     : 2                             Build Date: Sun Oct 31 11:37:04 1999

Release 2 is beta4.1, Release 1 is the buggy beta4 . The package
kdevelop-1.0beta4-2.i586.rpm is the right one (please note the number 2).
