The RPM works great with RH6/Mandrake6. The only problem is that it tries
to install in /opt/kde, which doesn't exist. I created /opt/kde, and made
all subdirectories from there symlinks to the equivalent /usr directories
(e.g. /opt/kde/bin -> /usr/bin, /opt/kde/share -> /usr/share...). Then I
installed the RPM. Works wonderfully.
When trying to compile from source, I had the problems with
libgif/libjpeg/libpng and whatnot...
