installation problem over RedHat 6.0

I have the same problems. I am afraid it has something with the fact that Red Hat has
broken with some standards in Linux. For example, kde isn't anymore in "opt/kde" as it was
before (at least till RH 5.1). Now it is under "usr/share/apps/" (or something like this)
Can you access kde libraries or the programing handbook? I can't.
I have used the rpm too. But try to compile to see what happens to you. It will fail.
Trust me.

If you find a way to put it running fine, please let me know.
