installation problem over RedHat 6.0

Hi guys.
I have installed kdeveloper on my RedHat 6.0 and have some problems to solve now.
1. Why doesn't it add itself to the path? do I have to add it? (/opt/kde/bin/kdevelop).
2. when running the main window get openned with no pixmaps on the toolbar's 
buttons,
why? did I do something wrong or is there a way to solve this problem?
* I have installed it using the i386 rpm.
