compiling kdevelop fails

Hi,
thanks for this hint. In the makefiles, where is no entry for libpng, only
LIBPNG= and nothing else.
But i cannot (will not) change every makefile, which will be created. There
might be another problem, that configure does not find libpng. I installed
now 2.1.0.3, but it was not found, too.

What can we do ?
