I think to support customized Makefile and Configure is required. For
example, I work with a couple of people who don't like any IDE at all.
However, I want to use KDevelop to simplify my life by its class viewer
integrated editor and debugger, error locating system and integrated CVS
system. I don't want KDevelop to create any file which will be part of
this project at all(Of course, KDevelop can create files used by itself).

When I add a file into projevt, KDevelop only recorded it in its project
files and don't intend to touch Makefile at all. It's the same for
deleting file and other actions.

I can image that I use KDevelop to write Linux kernel ....... If the cross
reference system of KDevelop is as strong as Cyguns's source navigator,
it's great.
