If you have a project open, and have chosed 'Dialog Editor', you must choose
a new dialog file before the widgets will be shown.  (or open an old one if you
have an old one.)

I don't think it's fair to blame the KDevelop folks for installation problems.  The
problems you have described are really problems with the RPM's.  It is impossible
to create the RPM's to where they will satisfy everyone.  They are only generic.
If you had downloaded the KDE Support package source, and compiled and installed
it, most of your problems would have been solved before you even saw them!!  I don't
know why, but the KDE Support RPM does not contain everything that it should.
