KDevelop cores when files are added to a project

Greetings,

This is not a serious bug but rather a nuisance. I tried to add files to a 
project but copied the files into the project directory  manually. 
Basically, Kdevelop had to copy the files onto themselves. Instead the 
program cored. A more graceful handling of this problem would be desirable. 
(I used the Dec., 3 1999 snapshot -- Final 1.0 Branch)
