To me it sound like a terrific idea. I actuall try to use readable variable
names. But we need to have a little more intellgence in the spell checker, since
sometimes variables need to be called someting like CAboutDialog - wich would
mean it's a class , and its a Dialog called About :-)
It is all about current project guidelines. If we do a spellchecker, maybe one,
that even looks at that sort of spelling - does it follow a set of freely
configurable rules as well as, for typos and synonyms.
BTW: I really miss Meta-/ (Alt-/) from emacs which auto expands the already
typed letters to the last matching word - recursive, backwards

Subject: Spell check the code!!!!
Hi,
it seems silly but I was talking with a collegue of mine and he said
that could be cool to have the spell checker in the IDE, for checking
all the strings and comments in the code or anyway you want it to apply:
docs, even variable names... how many time we get 'pos' 'posit'
'position' for referring to 'position' because we didn't have any
synomins of position??? A clean, correct, and appropriate code is always
welcome/helpfull ;)
In that way we don't have customer complaining on "flihgt" instead of
"flight" and so on... ;)
or project mamager complaining "all the varialbe name are identical!"
What do you think???
cheers
Massimo
