I agree. I'm personally even OK with requiring 5.12 or something like that.
That said, is there an overview somewhere to check the version of a package
across different distributions? That would make it easier for us to check what
we are doing here. Is LTS 18.04 the only somewhat recent distro that's going
to "miss" us?
