Working for Kdevelop help needed

Hi,

I tried editing code in
./shell/openprojectdialog.h
./shell/openprojectdialog.cpp
./shell/openprojectpage.h
./shell/openprojectpage.cpp

but I am not able to see changes in the application once I save it
I do this to recompile the whole Kdevelop code again
$ cd ~/kdesrc/build/kdevelop $ make install
Can you help me with this issue.
