Afaiks kdebug areas should be disabled by default in release mode. But if you 
install first in debug and then switch to release it might still be enabled.

Anyhow, users generally install kdev via the package manager, and to my 
knowledge this "problem" does not occur there. For all others: If you manage 
to compile from git, I bet you can run one more step (kdebugdialog) to disable 
the debug info if you want to.

PS: I personally have .xsession-errors disabled completely
