I think if someone comes up with a simple workaround, we should commit it,
and clearly mark it as such.
Upgrading upstream packages like cmake often simply is not an option,
because not every user administrates his system by himself, and also because
such upgrades tend to have other side effects.
We should mark such workarounds though, so they can be easily removed in
some years.

PS: it's a distro bug to distribute an old minor version of cmake anyway...
