Once I finish improving the KDevelop packages, and I get the
maintainer to actually merge my changes (I don't have any kind of
Debian account), I may look into packaging xdebug. However, like
Andreas said, the plugin doesn't have an official release, so I'd have
to package whatever recent code is there.

Also, there's low chance the package would actually get into Debian
testing or unstable; at most it'd be in the experimental repository.
