Improving "show uses"

Hey there, esp. David.

I want to discuss on how to improve show uses to solve two major problems I 
have with it:

1) when clicking the "show uses" in a tooltip, it shows the uses in a popup as 
well which is _very_ easy to hide by accident. I'd say we should /always/ use 
the context browser toolview for "show uses".

2) somehow make even the "show uses" toolview more resistent against 
accidental new requests that would hide "show uses". I'm more or less at a 
loss on how to improve this, other than by forcing the lock when "show uses" 
was pressed. This would be OK with me, but would require making the lock more 
obvious to users.

Input? Ideas?
