2 new bugs when using no tabbar

Hi,

just noticed that my last changes to container.cpp in sublime probably
introduced 2 new bugs (bugreports created and ranked vhi already). One
is that the label sometimes vanishes, especially when using split-views
and the other is that the label currently enforces a minimum-width of
the view based on the length of the path. This means you cannot split
views beyond a certain limit without getting an increase in the
mainwindow size.

I'll look into these two asap, but probably not before thursday evening
(christmas party tomorrow). If someone thinks these bugs are too grave
to be kept around so long, please revert the last 2 commits:

and reopen bug 259132.
