I think it's more about not filling the lists.kde.org archives with spam.
I moderate lists and consider it a good idea as long as it is done at
least once a day.

just sucks.

But listadmin
http://blog.lydiapintscher.de/category/productivity/
helps a lot in moderating lists. :)
