Reproducable crash on second start

I know that sometimes the locking of the repository-directories doesn't work 
correctly, but have never been able to reproduce it.

Some of the first lines of debug-output in kdevelop show you which folder was 
picked.

So can you check whether your both kdevelop instances pick the same directory? 
If yes, we need to find out why KLockFile sometimes fails so miserably.
