There are objections from me :) But I'll need to boot into Linux to examine
all the things, will do that tomorrow.

No, I'll announce when we go into deep freeze and hence string changes
cannot be done anymore.

A script runs every night that updates all the translation catalog files
with the new strings. And translators just do an "svn up" and then edit the
.po files where the strings have changed.
