I think we can release granite alpha2 (yes, we stable enough and has a
lot of things implemented). Then do beta between 4.2 and 4.3 and
release really sweet and stable KDE4 with KDE4.3.
Naming releases is a very important thing for end-users. You know there
was a lot of noise with KDE4 (4.0 for devs and 4.1). From Beta people
wait full-features and just few bugs IMHO.

As for me (DVCS) I think I can be ready with git and hg good support and
basic bzr
before feature freeze. After September 15-20 I will have enough time for
hg and some optimization for all dvcs support.

Also I would suggest to make some presentation (maybe just in blog)
about KDevelop4. Screenshots (small videos?) about all important
features. There are a lot of questions about code completion, building
projects, etc, so let's show what we have.

This can be a stupid idea... Some projects like to give pretty names for
releases. And we... Just KDevelop4. Maybe "High hopes"?
