Animation bug found to be in Qt (both 3 and 4), not in KDE as reported

You should report this to the Trolltech folks yourself using their task 
tracker. You'll want to reference KDE bug #142321 as 
http://bugs.kde.org/142321 and also include both of your small test 
applications in your report to Trolltech.
