On e.g. kwrite-devel, all bug reports show up on that list(*), which is
nice if (like me) you want to watch what is going on in the bugzilla
world and (also like me) prefer news to e-mail. What bugs show up here
(kdevelop-devel) bug-wise seems rather haphazard. Basically, the reason
is 'so people that prefer news to e-mail can subscribe to the list'. :-)
Anyway, that's how/why I personally would use it if it were on gmane.
If I sign it up, I think it would have to be read-only to force people
to add comments the right way (if kdevelop-bugs isn't itself read-only,
which I didn't check).
(* well, kwrite-devel is a default CC, anyway. I assume you can remove
it, but I would also assume the same can be done for kdevelop-bugs, so
that doesn't really mean anything.)
