Improving the KDevelop UI

what a waste of space in the left! I cannot work with such a large white space 
while I need a large editing window for my code.
I run on 1024x728 only, your mockup would not allow me enough space for the 
editor.
And the integrated terminal is most needed, yes.
The current design allows to have less needed facilities on hand while not 
cluttering the design.
Well, that was my personal view,
