Summary: kdevelop3 crashes when creating new .ui file
Product: kdevelop
Version: 3.0.3
Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: crash
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel kdevelop org
ReportedBy: john dansted org
Version: 3.0.3 (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: gcc 3.3.3
OS: Linux
>From Kdevelop when I do the following:
Project/New Project/C++/KDE/Simple KDE Application
I call it "blah3", choose no version control and click next a few times.
I now have a project, so I can go File/New and create a new dialog called blahdialog. The "Add to project" box is ticked.
In the "Automake Manager - Choose target" window I just click "OK" and the KDE Crash handler comes up telling me kdevelop3 crashed due to a signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
-----
If I uncheck the Add to Project box then it crashes before it even gets to the "Automake Manager" window.
BTW, this problem has exibited itself under knoppix-3.4-2004/05/17 and mandrake 9.2. I am currently running it under knoppix, which does not give a good backtrace (everything is stripped I guess). I could give the bt for mdk9.2, but that uses kde 3.1 which isn't supported anymore.
