New things being worked on

Hi,

I've heard lots of rumblings on IRC about things being worked on by people 
that aren't very active. Can somebody tell me what those things are so I 
don't overlap?  There are a few things in the cpp language support that i'd 
like to work on (code completion, for one) and i'd prefer not to waste/use my 
time on that if it's just going to be discarded later.
