FYI: CVS build - parts/Makefile.am:11: required directory parts/documentation does not exist

I'm getting build errors on my end.  I haven't tried anything radical to fix 
them.  I happens like this:
Fri Apr 09 13:17:41:> make -f Makefile.cvs
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution
