gideon ...

 * crashes in IDEAI mode, history plugin installed

 * doesn't crash without history plugin (gmake uninstall in 
'parts/history'), IDEAI mode

 * doesn't crash (either history plugin installed or not) in Childframe 
Window Mode

The window mode may be involved in this?
