Summary: Remove file of unrecognized type from project via File
                    Tree fails
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel at kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: zcu2k001 at sneakemail.com

Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-pre7

I had accidentally added a couple binary files to my project via the File Tree by right-clicking them and choosing Add To Project. So now I want to remove them from my project (since I would never want to open these files in KDevelop), so I right-click one and click "Remove from Project". An "Open with..." dialog box pops up asking me for a program to open the file with. (This is one bug - why is it trying to open the file when I only said I wanted to remove it from the project?) If I click Cancel, the file does not get removed from the project. If I open it with a random program, the file *still* does not get removed from the project. Thus, there seems to be no way for me to remove these files from the project.
