Hi,

If I understand correctly, you attempt also to support
KDE versions prior to 3.1.90.

However, I have here a SuSE 8.2 with KDE 3.1.1 and I get
a compile failure from src/mainwindow.h because the
included files

#include <kmdimainfrm.h>
#include <kmdichildview.h>

are not found.
