KDevelop team interview

Just to make sure I get this straight:

- KDE_2_2_BRANCH is the version originating from the KDevelop 2.0 release
(15 august), which was release along with KDE 2.2 . This is a stable branch,
for bugfixing only. This branch is also the one leading to KDEvelop 2.1,
released on april, 4th.

- KDEVELOP_2_BRANCH is a branch with new features originating from
KDE_2_2_BRANCH. When was this branch created ?

- Gideon is a complete rewrite.

- Until the 2.1 release, the head branch was also the KDE_2_2_BRANCH.

Right ?

Bernd, could you detail when and why you started Gideon, why you think it is
better, ... ? And the other, do you think Gideon is a good concept or a bad
idea, and why ? I don't want to start a flamewar though :-)
