Hooray, it all compiles now. Not running yet, but that's a battle for another 
day ;-) Looks like it was just a bad copy from the CVS...might have booked 
out a version of 2.2 instead. Can be hard to keep it all straight when you 
have multiple (currently 3) versions all booked out at once.

If anyone out there has some hot tips for how to avoid trashing my nice 
working 2.1 compiler while working on and testing the new one, now would be a 
good time to send them ;-> Also, any tips on code/compile/test cycle would be 
handy, since I sent myself nuts last time by having to do a 'make install' 
after every code change. I'll even type them up into a mini-faq if there's 
enough good info.

Sleep is calling me, work day tomorrow.
