Greetings
Since Python scripting support currently destroys X on exit of gideon, I would
like to take this time to migrate the scripting support to KScript. This way
we can script KDevelop in any language that KScript supports. Currently only
shell scripts are supported but Python and KJS script engines are in the
works. (In theory any language that supports dcop we can script in)
Bascily the process of doing this will involve adding dcop interfaces pretty
much to every important function of KDevelop. The next step would be to add
a script manager. The plus side of this would be we dont have to mess with
embedding python and the mainnance of the python interface. We will also
give those perl users a change ad scripting too ;)
Please if anyone has objections please let me know, I plan to strt on this
monday.
Cheers
