No more feature addons on KDE_2_2_BRANCH at all. KDE_2_2_BRANCH has been 
closed since KDevelop-2.1 is tagged and in the stage of packaging.
Only critical errors and crashes will be still fixed there for 2.1.x 
releases of KDevelop.
Personally, I have finished development on KDE_2_2_BRANCH.

Patch KDEVELOP_2_BRANCH or HEAD instead.

What do you mean? (I don't see an MDI problem mentioned in the original 
mail of Nir.)
