I'd prefer to switch word-wrap on for printing. Though I don't know how 
to do this.
Anyway, your patch does work.
How about changing the compile flag for coloured printing to a 
kdeveloprc entry, that is not supported by the GUI but can be manually 
changed? The default value of the flag may be b/w printing and people 
can change it to 'coloured'. In that case I'd second the applying of 
your patch. What do you think?
