whoops.... sorry, that was my patch :( Although I don't see where the "<br>"'s 
come from...

Removing the escape thingy makes it work again. There will be trouble if some 
app outputs something like <b>, the rest of the output will be bold...

But if someone complains we can point on a working KDE3 version ;)
