hm, we don't provide snapshots, but the KDE_2_2_BRANCH is in deep freeze so 
only critical bugfixes will go in.

Just do a "cvs co -r KDE_2_2_BRANCH kdevelop" and you'll get a snapshot. If 
you look at the checkins, there are only a few per month.

Otherwise you can use the latest 2.1.2 release of KDevelop 
(http://www.kdevelop.org/index.html?filename=download.html), but then someone 
always has to resolve your patches if something has changed.
