problem in installing Kdevelop 2.1 beta

hi,

I have mandrake 8.1 installed.
I don't want to install KDE 3, but I do need the Kdevelop 2.1
so I downloaded the Kdevelop 2.1 beta2 for KDE 2.2
but it isn't complied, I am getting many compilation errors
Can someone help me? I am desperate!
Is there RPM for Kdevelop 2.1 beta for KDE 2.2? 
I really need this because of the cross compiling feature.
