Code completion in 2.1?

Hi,

I've just got KDE3.0, mainly because I wanted to try out Kdevelop2.1 First
off a big congratulations to you all! It's much, much better, and is
really very professional looking now.

However I *STILL* can't get code-completion to work. It's turned on in the 
menus, but nothing seems to happen. I'm sorry if I'm being stupid, but 
I've spent 2 days now reading FAQs, searching google etc. and I can't work 
it out. Can anyone help? I suspect I can't be the only one struggling with 
this - perhaps it could be added to the FAQ?

I'm running RH7.2, and I downloaded RPMs from ftp.kde.org.
