KTextEditor - freeze is soon ;)

Hi,
wouldn't it be a good idea to use the new KTextEditor interfaces now in Gideon 
? And it would be nice if somebody from kdevelop team could also build up / 
propose some more advanced interfaces for the ktexteditor which are needed 
for IDE's (and kdevelop) (and perhaps help to implement them in kate part for 
example) ?
