Okay let's do that. I think we do not necessarily make all kde sites look
the
same - no we even must not. But there has to be an element and/or a basic
layout that holds them all together. This may not only be these cogwheels.
Maybe also the basic site layout, the links to other kde-sites, fonts.
Some points for differences could be colors, main picture/logo, categories,
etc.
O'Reilly (www.oreilly.com) gives a good example for a working combination
of different sites.
Can anyone tell how to address all other designers?
Sandy: I think there still will be some room for having individuality.
Besides
we should not separate KDevelop too much from KDE. (Otherwise we have
to remove the K.) If you want to address also Perl, Java, PHP devlopers than
announce it on the front page in a way like this "KDevelop - For
Java, PHP, GBA, Python, C/C++, Objective C, Pascal, ... developers" and
add a subcategory for each Language.
