could someone shed some light on the CVS tag chaos?

May I ask that someone please shed some light on the tags in cvs? 
Which tag belongs to 

kdevelop-1.4.1

kdevelop-1.4 development leading to kdevelop-2

For example a cvs status for the ChangeLog file gives: 

        KDE_2_1_1_RELEASE               (revision: 1.352.2.278.2.9.2.1)
        KDE_2_1_BRANCH                  (branch: 1.352.2.278.2.9.2)
        KDE_2_1_RELEASE                 (revision: 1.352.2.278.2.8)
        KDE_2_1_RELEASET                (revision: 1.352.2.278.2.2)
        KDE_2_1                         (revision: 1.352.2.278.2.2)
        KDE_2_1_BETA2                   (revision: 1.352.2.278.2.2)
        KDEVELOP_1_4                    (branch: 1.352.2.278.2)
...

I lost the oversight, which is the development branch for kdevelop-2?
