Participating in the development process of KDevelop

Dear KDevelop Team,
Perhaps you remember me of some perior mails concerning KDevelop and
Modula-3. For the ones who don't, here a short intro:
I'm a last-year computer science student at the university of Groningen,
the Netherlands, graduating on software engineering. For my last
assignment I intended to design and integrate a Modula-3 under an existing
IDE, which would also be used at our university along the practical
courses.
After finding out about KDevelop (version 1.2, at the time), which
was(/is) an advanced c/c++ IDE I decided to integrate it under KDevelop.
Now my design is complete and I'm ready to start implementation, I would
like to use KDevelop 2 as the basis which has a very fine and organized
code structure and a good inheritance (NICE works, guys!).
Unfortunately KDevelop 2 has still a long way to get to the final release,
I suppose, as I've seen the latest code. So I've made a change in plan.
I would like to participate in developing/programming KDevelop 2. I know
pretty enough OO, C/C++, perl en some other languages (not relevant here).
I don't know very much about QT (but that'd not be a problem, I'm a fast
learner ;-)) I'm very familiar with linux as well.
I'm the system administrator of fmf.fwn.rug.nl, a linux server. So I may
be able to provide some services to support the KDevelop project as well.
(for example providing frequent/fresh snapshots via ftp). So let me know
if I can do something.
If the KDevelop 2 has reached a stable status, or perhaps meanwhile, I'll
implement my design of Modula-3.
So please let me know what I can do and where I can begin. Is it possible
to join the team? Is it possible that I get a write permission to the cvs
rep.? If yes, how should it be arranged? (I I saw somewhere I should ask
Kullow about it.) How is the work distributed? Who does what?
I'm very intersted in your reply.
Y.T.,
Omid
