Subject : Cycle through editor windows
Error Class: change-request
Error Location: editor
Priority: low
Bug Description ---------------------------
This is not a bug, but a missing feature.
It is common in MDI-based editors to be able to cycle or switch
through all open editor windows. I was unable to find
a key combination that would do it in kdevelop.
The class view is good to open a new file, but especially
when using two files at the same time a ctrl-Tab/ctrl-shift-Tab-
like switching would be ideal; if possible LRU-based.
There is a key code to switch between the LRU Tabs
(Header/Code/...), but that´s not enough
How to repeat the error -------------------
Bugfix or Workaround ----------------------
Use the Window-Menu.
Unfortunately, this normally contains a lot unsorted windoes.
System Information ------------------------
KDevelop version: 1.0beta2
KDE version: 1.1.1
QT version: 1.44
OS/Distribution: Linux 2.2.9/SuSE 6.0
Compiler: egcs-2.91.66
